Of particular interest are land snails, among which are numerous endemic species typical of the Istrian area (such as\u00a0<em>Medeora albescens albescens<\/em>\u00a0on the rocks of the \u0160krile source), and other species that are protected according to the Croatian Nature Protection Law.
