This tour starts at the\u00a0Poklon pass\u00a0<\/strong>with a short explanation of some of the basic facts about Mount U\u010dka, the reasons for protecting this area, and a brief introduction to U\u010dka Nature Park and its basic features. The excursion then continues to the village of\u00a0Vela U\u010dka<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Water of Joseph II fountain<\/strong>, a heritage item of Austro-Hungarian road architecture from the 18th\u00a0century.<\/p>\n

Next stop is the canyon of\u00a0Vela draga \u2013 a geomorphological nature monument<\/strong>. The Vela draga educational trail leads right to the edge of the canyon with a vantage point and rest area. Interpretation boards along the trail inform visitors about the origins of Mount U\u010dka, the history of climbing in the canyon of Vela draga, fossils found in the area and other interesting facts.<\/p>\n

The tour can be continued following the educational trail into the canyon.<\/p>\n
